This is a knitting pattern for a Birthday Cake with Lit Candles, complete with flaming candles ready to be blown out! Printed on A5 size thick paper and delivered in a flat envelope.

Our cake is worked in the round in 2 pieces, and the seam will be hidden underneath the icing. So if you are a messy seamer like me, don't worry, it won't show.
Finished cake measures 9cm high and 14cm in diameter.
Seed beads and bugle beads are used to finish. Main cake is stuffed with upholstery foam cut to size, and a little extra stuffing is place on top to give a nice curved shape. Thin wire is used to make the candles stand up.
It would make a very special gift for a special birthday, and can be personalised in many ways.
